- Carolyn’s 40th Surprise Birthday Celebration

The Pattern
Carolyn’s husband, Jeff, contacted Seamless Events hoping we could plan her 40th surprise celebration. He wanted a themed celebration that would illustrate Carolyn’s personality and passions, providing a good time by all their long-time friends and family.
The Design
To bring Jeff’s vision to life, we met with him and asked a series of thought-provoking questions that helped us develop the theme. It was decided that a “New York” night life theme with Asian inspired accents and red, gold, and black colors would be used consistently from the invitations to the décor and favors. The invitations were designed with the Asian symbol for 40, the Tailored Creations were fun, and the personalized fortune cookie cake was a hit! We secured the perfect location for the surprise – and all within Jeff’s budget.
The Praise
“The invite arrived and it looks GREAT! Thank you - you are making my life SOOOO easy!!”

- Courtney’s Wedding Shower

Website: www.courtneyandscott.com
The Pattern
Courtney’s sister, Heather, was puzzled about how she was going to manage all the planning and day of responsibilities for Courtney’s shower and actually be able to enjoy the celebration too. She was looking for a team to manage the wedding shower so she could relax, have great conversations with her family and friends, and enjoy the time with her sister.
The Design
Seamless Events was hired to have two of their Event Detailers attend the wedding shower to ensure all the different components of the event came together. They did everything from prepare the food on the menu, set up the presentation of the food and beverage, serve the guests as needed, replenish guest’s food and beverage, and clean and put away all the dishes, utensils, and left over food.
The Praise
“I wouldn't have been able to enjoy my sister's shower if it wasn't for the onsite help from Seamless Events. Her bridal shower was a total success as your team kept the event moving, the food and drinks plentiful and the cleanup almost non-existent. I had several friends ask about your services and I gladly gave them your contact information so they could experience such incredible service!”
- Heather Kontonis, matron of honor
- Lishele and Kris’ Wedding

The Pattern
Lishele contacted Seamless Events for some last minute help with the finishing touches for her Philadelphia Themed wedding. The bride was born and raised in New York City and the groom was from the Philadelphia area. They were starting their lives together in the Philadelphia area and wanted to introduce family and friends to all the best that Philly has to offer to. Lischele wasn’t sure how she would get over one hundred fresh soft Philadelphia pretzels delivered and bagged in a creative package on the day of her wedding for her guests.
The Design
With all of their family and friends attending the wedding, no one but Seamless Events was available to hand deliver the freshest pretzels in a personalized wedding bag. Because of this, Lischele and Kris didn’t have to worry about those little details on the day of their wedding. Every guest was walking out of the reception biting into a delicious, and, fresh soft pretzel - leaving that memory of the ‘Best of Philadelphia’ themed wedding they had attended. Lischele and Kris were so thrilled with Seamless Events’ help; we even celebrated with them a few weeks later.
The Praise
“My ‘Best of Philadelphia’ themed wedding would have been incomplete without the soft pretzel favors designed, packaged, and delivered by Connie and the Seamless Events staff! Not only did Seamless Events accept delivery of 150 soft pretzels on the morning of my wedding, but they also packaged them in bags and labels designed exclusively for my wedding and delivered them directly to the reception venue to ensure that they would be fresh and delicious for my wedding guests.”

- Amy & Mike's Wedding

The Pattern
The bride and groom were ready to walk down the aisle and then celebrate with their dream reception, but the reception venue was not as ready as they were. With only two weeks until the wedding, Amy and Mike’s venue dropped a bomb on them – they wouldn’t be able to host their wedding reception.
The Design
Seamless Events stepped in just weeks before to rescue the wedding reception, keep the family stress-free, and leave the process pain-free for all of the guests. Amazingly, we were able to present the family with several quality venue options for their wedding reception. Once chosen, Seamless Events worked with the venue to negotiate pricing so the family could recoup the money lost on the last venue. We worked with the venue to ensure that the menu would reflect the choice each guest had already made, and even went to the reception to ensure that every detail came together on Amy’s and Mike’s day.
The Praise
“From the second I realized that we would be looking for a new location for a reception with only 2 weeks to do it, my head started spinning, blood pressure went way up and panic was setting in. Once I contacted you guys… all gone! We were lucky to have found Amy, Connie, and Seamless Events”.

- Ann Clay (Delaware Inaugural Ball)

The Pattern
Right after Thanksgiving 2008, Ann Clay – a Delaware resident and educator – contacted Seamless Events Inc. to help her coordinate and implement the plans necessary for a formal affair in honor of President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden. Ann was referred to Seamless Events by a Board Member of the Philadelphia Society for Human Resources Management, which we manage. In a short amount of time, Ann needed us to write, develop, and disseminate flyers, registration forms, and a website with credit card payment capability, as well as e-mail blasts and media alerts. She also needed to nail down a venue at a reasonable price and secure event staff for registration management on the day of the event.
The Design
First, we worked to find a suitable venue that was conveniently located. We sent out an RFP through our supplier network and heard back from several, but narrowed it down to the Crystal Center on Philadelphia Pike after meeting in person and developing a positive relationship with them. We then worked with the venue to coordinate logistics and plan the customized Obama-themed menu. During this time, an elegant and professional website and flyer were put together for promoting the event, while official letters were written to city and state politicians, securing Wilmington City Councilman Potter and his wife Delaware State Treasurer, Velda Potter. With the implantation of an e-mail and online marketing plan, we generated sales through Facebook, the official Obama website, and created interest through related and geo-targeted blogs and website. We wrote and disseminated Media Alerts to several news outlets, including newspapers, TV, and radio, resulting in a News Post prior to the event on December 31, as well as securing a reporter, photographer, and videographer from The News Journal at the event, producing the following Article and Video. And on the day of the event, we executed a flawless registration process for the attendees, media, and vendors and set-up event materials as well as managed a raffle to benefit AIDS Delaware.
The Praise
“What an amazing and special time—all because of you! This is one of these times that I can say honestly, “I couldn’t have done it without you...Each and every guest had rave reviews!”
- Ann Clay, Honeybrown Entertainment
- McLean Family 4th of July Celebration

The Pattern
Seamless Events was approached by our client after a connection was made through our Seamless Events Facebook Profile. With just 3 weeks to plan, our client was looking for assistance in pulling together a 4th of July celebration at their private residence for family members, co-workers, and colleagues to celebrate their family’s new U.S. citizenship and a 60th birthday as well!
The Design
Seamless Events went into overdrive to pull all the details together in a few short weeks! We provided vendor management of food and beverage, rental and entertainment management, event set-up and break down, as well as budget management. Having pre-existing relationships with outstanding professional partners helped. We set up all of the rented tables and chairs provided by All Event Party Rentals and draped them with linen table clothes and napkins from Choice Party Linens. The red, white, and blue floral centerpieces were a hit! Once guests arrived, they indulged in a menu we planned with preferred professional caterer Stadium Grille, which provided a plethora of made to order BBQ options! Guests washed down the sumptuous food with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic sangria prepared and set up beautifully by Seamless Events. Guests enjoyed sno-cones doled out by Seamless Events staff and caricature drawings from Angie Jordan. Afterwards, the parents with children in attendance were able to relax while Seamless staff members entertained the children with games and activities including duck pond, bean bag toss, temporary tattoos, and other games with prizes! At the end of the evening, a delicious cake was cut into compliments of Bredenbeck’s Bakery. A good red, white, and blue day was had by all!
The Praise
“First of all - thank you for the great job on Saturday! You girls thought of everything and were prepared for anything!”
- Toni Amendolia, Exelon Power Team
- Scott Surprise 40th Birthday Party

The Pattern
Christine Scott was to be traveling for business on and off through the month of July, but did not want to miss the opportunity to throw her husband an outstanding surprise 40th birthday party at the end of the month. After a great word-of-mouth referral, Christine approached Seamless Events to help her with planning the event, so she could focus on her work and family without being overwhelmed.
The Design
Seamless Events had a lengthy conversation with Christine in which we discussed her budget, ideas for the 80s theme, geographic location, etc. From there, we put together a comprehensive plan to bring together all of the pieces, so Christine could concentrate on work while traveling. Based off of our initial conversation, we researched venues that would work within her budget and negotiated a great price point. Once the venue was secured, we then developed a 80s theme e-vite, sent to her guests, tracked all responses, and updated Christine accordingly. We created “Twister” board game nametags for all of the guests. On the day of the surprise party, Christine was just getting off of a plane while we set up the venue space with 80s board game centerpieces, balloons, a “Twister” themed cupcake tier, and decorations. When Christine and her husband arrived, all of the guests were in place, the food and drinks were flowing, and the DJ was playing an all 80s video set on the flat screen TVs!
